Citizens Band Radios, or CB radios as they are commonly known, have been a popular form of communication for decades. However, the term CB radio is not the only term used to describe this type of two-way radio system. Other synonyms for CB radios include "truckers radio," "hobbyist radio," and "base station radio." Other common terms used to describe CB radios in the US include "breaker, breaker" radio, "channel 19," and "10-4" radio. In the United Kingdom, CB radios are commonly referred to as "PMR446 radios" or "446 radios." Despite their various names, CB radios remain a reliable form of communication for truckers, hobbyists, and emergency responders alike.
